Hedera reminds all hbar holders that accounts created under the community testing program are subject to the Hedera Profile terms of use. In particular, the user who creates an account is solely responsible for all activity on the account and should not share or transfer access to credentials to any other user. We have seen many attempts to scam people, both on our project and others, and we urge everyone to continue to be patient and careful.

Hedera has distributed hbars to certain developers and early users under its community testing program solely for the purpose of giving developers and early users the ability to use hbars to test and help Hedera in the development of the network and help build out a robust, functioning ecosystem. Hedera strongly discourages any developer trading those hbars for speculative purposes in any manner or form of transaction. Hedera also does not endorse or vouch for the merits of any person, firm or entity who purports to offer or provides exchange trading services or otherwise facilitates purchases or sales of hbars. There is not currently a safe secondary market for buying and selling hbars, and we therefore caution people against engaging in such transactions.
